Territory Sales Representative

Job Description:

Strategic Marketing is looking for a competitive, consultative and passionate Territory Sales Representative that thrives in a fast-paced sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls every week, cold calling on new prospects within the territory, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Source new sales opportunities in the territory
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Deliver effective and engaging presentations to prospects

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years inside and/or outside sales experience
  • Consultative sales approach and the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Track record of over-achieving quota

Account Manager

Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Empower Implementation Specialist, the Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact with existing Empower customers, provide comprehensive coordination, and increase customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy professional, that is able to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to support sales and strengthen customer relationships. This is an entry level position but previous customer service experience will be an advantage. Ultimately, the Account Manager will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with our customers to reach business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong customer satisfaction relationships through regular communication
  • Coordinate with sales consultants to create a customized marketing plan for each customer
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • In collaboration with the sales consultants, suggest company products that maximize client satisfaction
  • Report on the status of accounts

Qualifications:

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field desired

Digital Media Specialist

Job Description:

We have a great opportunity for a driven Digital Media Strategist at Strategic Marketing. This digital media architect is our go-to expert for planning, crafting and facilitating the execution of high-dollar media plans for B2B and B2C clients. Along with building a holistic digital marketing plan, they are ultimately responsible for the success of our client’s digital campaigns and work closely with researchers, media buyers, and product specialists to make it happen.

We are looking for experienced media planners who are comfortable working across multiple channels and tactics while maintaining a laser-like focus on setting and achieving measurable results through carefully defined KPIs while still possessing a detailed and analytic mindset to provide unique and compelling insights to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data-driven digital media plans that align with customer KPIS, competitive research, and campaign experience. Work with sales reps to understand prospect’s challenges and goals and collaborate with internal PPC/SEM, video, and programmatic display specialists to gather intel that resonates with the client.
  • Oversee the strategic vision of new campaign implementation, including outlining the strategic plan and key objectives, guiding campaign integration across multiple tactics, collaborating with creative teams to tell the advertiser’s story, working with operations and product specialists to determine optimal audience targeting, communicating with partners and vendors, and ensuring tracking is in place to measure success and report on the right metrics to the right people.
  • Manage the overall success of assigned campaign portfolios by critically analyzing the product mix, optimizing audience targeting, and shifting budget to better performing tactics, and recommending upsells when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with our internal analytics/reporting team to routinely create campaign performance reports interwoven with strategic insights. Communicate performance highlights and actionable findings to client-facing account managers and our sales reps

Qualifications:

SQL Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a SQL developer who will assist with development across the entire Microsoft SQL stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS). In this role, you would be interfacing with a team of web developers, data analysts, and business users while under the direction of senior development.

Responsibilities:

  • SQL Server database development: tables, stored procedures, indexes, etc.
  • SSIS as well as non-standard ETL development (bcp, command line)
  • SSRS development
  • Database performance analysis and optimization
  • Ad-hoc business requested data extractions

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to a strong understanding of the MS SQL Server environment (3+ years of experience), specifically in regards to indexing (clustered, non-clustered, column store)
  • Have experience with SQL Server Profiler
  • Experience with aggregating large data sets, specifically within a data warehouse environment
  • Intermediate to a strong understanding of execution plans and plan caching
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions
  • Familiar with report development paradigms
  • Ability to complete development projects on time without day to day oversight of the code by the project leads
  • Must be able to review and optimize large pieces of SQL code
  • Must be able to work well within a skilled development team
  • Being able to provide and receive peer review
  • Familiar with MS SQL best practices involved with OLTP and data warehouse environments
  • SQL operational management (backups, maintenance plans, new server setup) experience a bonus
  • SSAS and PowerBI experience is a bonus
  • Degree preferred or other computer/analytical related fields and/or 5+ years of related work experience

Variable Data Software Engineer

Job Description:

Seeking a career-oriented individual with both a technical and design background to work with graphic design, variable data print and composition software.

Work with graphic design, database, and variable data composition software to produce templated variable data documents.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned

  • Prepare, proof and design documents for digital output
  • Create and program variable data documents
  • Translate original designs into variable data templates
  • Work closely with IT and Graphics departments to develop best practices
  • Maintain libraries of variable assets
  • Create and manipulate graphics assets as required

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in prepress, graphic design, or direct mail
